This Cheap Portable Heater Really Is Portable!
Putting together this Big Buddy portable heater was easy, and among the many things I love about this portable heater is that it’s truly portable: it’s not bulky or heavy, and so whenever I go camping during the fall or winter season, it’s easy to load it into my pickup truck, without worrying about the space it takes up. The camping tent I use this in is relatively small – around 100 square feet – even though I know the heater can provide heat in an enclosed space measuring 400 square feet. I can appreciate this, since the heater expends less energy in providing heat in the small space, so I can practically use it for about 2 weeks (though I never really go camping for longer than a week), since I always use the lowest setting. It’s also great that starting the heater is easy and can heat up a relatively small space within 15 to 20 minutes.
Would I Recommend This As The Best Portable Heater 2011?
This portable heater has proven to be efficient. It has saved me from freezing my butt off many nights, and I believe I’ve used it more than 7 times (to different camping trips, throughout the years). I paid less than $150 for this heater, and I have no regrets. The design of the portable heater is good, and the heater’s body clearly shows its heavy-duty construction. It’s exactly what I need in a portable heater, and it fulfills its function, so I would recommend it for anyone that needs a lightweight heater for use at home, or outdoors, or both.
